WHAT IS YOU’RE IN RUDE HEALTH WEEK?
Rude Health is an old English expression meaning your ‘up for life and full of energy.’ This June we are putting on a week of events that shakes up your wake up and adds some rhumba to your routine. From wood carving and wild swimming to massaging and meditating this lineup will celebrate you mentally, spiritually, physically or creatively being ‘in rude health’.
You’re in rude health when…. you brave the wild waves before breakfast. You paddle board in the Thames. Your smile lines are stronger than your frowning ones.
As part of You’re In Rude Health Week we have organised something a little off the beaten track. So off the track in fact it’s on water.
Your morning stroll isn’t floating your boat? Need to dip your toe into something a little more, well, intrepid? Or simply fancy some sight seeing with a twist? Join our paddle boarding class followed by a banquet brunch at the Rude Health Café.
DID YOU KNOW?
When you take part in a form of exercise that provides a great risk you’re more likely to stay focused and motivated? So if you find yourself drifting off in that morning Pilates session then this is the perfect gig for you! It’s a little more challenging, a bundle of laffs and we can say from experience it’ll guarantee you abs of steel.
Bored of your stationary restaurant date nights?
Along with paddle boarding, the River Thames can offer you a wide range of floating food and drink spots. You’ll be sure to get a second date after this…

WHAT DO I WEAR AND BRING?
No specialist clothing is required. Just shorts and a t-shirt or light layers are fine in warm weather. If it is looking a little nippy add a fleece and they can also provide wetsuits on request. No cotton/jean/denim as this stays cold when wet. Old sandals or trainers you don’t mind getting wet are ideal.
Showers aren’t included. Please bring a change of clothes.
