banana bread porridge

Serves 4


4 organic bananas

400ml Coconut Drink

250g Daily Oats

75g organic raisins

100g organic walnuts

1 tsp cinnamon



1. In a blender, blend 3 bananas and coconut milk until smooth. Pour into a pan with the oats, add the raisins and cinnamon and gently bring to simmering point. Stir the porridge so it doesn’t stick. The porridge will thicken.

2. Add water gradually to give the oats more liquid to soak up until you have a consistency and texture you like. You want to aim for about a 10 minute cooking time. When the porridge is cooked stir through half of the chopped walnuts.

Spoon into bowls and top with chopped banana and the remaining walnuts.
