So long “overnight oats”. Here’s a proper  traditional Bircher muesli recipe that you can whip up in a matter of minutes.


Serves 2 adults generously

200g Soft & Fruity Bircher Muesli

400g fresh juice (pear, apple or rhubarb work really well
1 large or 2 small apples),

Handful of berries and mixed nuts

100g plain yoghurt


1. In a big bowl or container, soak the oats in the juice for about 10 minutes. Luckily these oats have been milled so fine they don’t need to soak overnight.

2. In the meantime, grate the apple and then add this to the soaked oats together with the yoghurt. (If you do want to use the Bircher over a few days, add the grated apple and yoghurt in proportion to the oats when you want to eat that day.)

3. Give it all a good mix and spoon into bowls when ready to eat. Happiness guaranteed.
