A guest recipe from This Rawsome Vegan Life blog, ft. Yuyo Yerba Mate.


  • 1 1/2 cups chilled Yuyo Yerba Mate tea
  • 1/2 cup Rude Health cashew drink
  • Handful of cashews, preferably soaked in the cashew drink
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 4 or 5 dates
  • 1 tsp lúcuma powder
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder
  • Dash of vanilla essenc
  • Pinch of Himalayan salt
  • Cacao nibs (optional)


Blend everything until smooth. Taste and adjust by adding more dates, cashews for thickness, an extra pinch of salt etc.Top off with cacao nibs and enjoy this plant-based super fuel.
