Our challenge is to reach more customers and build strong long-term customer relations using our brand values and creative vision. To support this ambition, we would like to find someone who is inspired by this challenge and is ready to lead the UK Sales Team as the Head of Sales. You’ll have experience leading a team, either as an existing Head of Sales, or a Senior Account Manager looking for a new challenge.


To lead the UK multi – channel sales team, at the same time as:

  • Manage relationships with selected key national account customers
  • driving sales growth,
  • making range recommendations,
  • creating and deploying a relevant promotional, marketing & sampling plan,
  • selling NPD,
  • regular site visits,
  • dealing with complaints, stock issues & general queries from customers
  • engaging the wider business with the sales strategy, plan and performance.
  • Drive business with new customers
  • Identify & approach potential customers
  • Sell a relevant Rude Health range into new customers
  • Support with the set-up of the customer’s route to market

Desired skills & experience:

  • Experience as a people manager
  • Strategic insights feel natural
  • Successful track record in sales within FMCG
  • Strong commercial acumen, and trained in negotiation
  • Skilled communicator
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and assessing new market/business opportunities
  • Proactive, self-starter with high levels of energy and drive
  • Relish problem solving
  • Passion for quality food

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Rude Health was built on the relationships we developed with independent food & coffee shops. We recognise the importance of these relationships not only from a sales perspective and reaching consumers but also for maintaining our position in the industry as a key voice for trends and innovation. We see these customers as being key influencers in the market and therefore it is critical to have a strong relationship to enable us to influence the influencers. We want to continue to focus our attention on these independent stores as well as identify new opportunities within the independent sector. Organising our strong brand ambassador team who carry out regular samplings makes us able to further develop our relationships within the independent sector.



Support the management of key current independent customers by;

  • Managing the sampling agency for sales.
  • Regular site visits.
  • Improving in store theatre.
  • Dealing with complaints, stock issues & general queries.

Field Sales;

  • City visits to reach more parts of the UK including visiting new and existing customers – one City per month.
  • London visits – one postcode per week.

Run the Brand Ambassador sampling programme;

  • Manage the relationship with the agency who run the sampling programme across our independent customers.
  • This includes meeting and selecting new brand ambassadors, training brand ambassadors, organising stock and send outs for sampling, deciding which stores will have a sampling session and what should be sampled.
  • Follow up with stores post samplings.
  • Monthly summary to keep the RH team up to date with progress.

Support the sales team;

  • Help with organising and attending trade shows.
  • General team send outs, new line forms and promotion forms.
  • Support with sales team customer queries and complaints.
