CURRENT JOBS:

Role background:  We’re looking for a Head of UK Sales to help amplify our purpose, “To inspire everyone to be in rude health”.  The Rude Health brand is key to delivering this purpose by helping people make better food and drink choices.  Ultimately, we believe that better choices will lead us all to be up for life and full of energy, in rude health. Our  challenge is to amplify our purpose using our brand values and creative vision.  To support this  ambition, we would like to find a Head of UK Sales who is inspired by this challenge. Role outline: Strategy:

  • Create a sales strategy across our 4 UK sales channels; Supermarkets, Online, Food Service and Independents, recognising the need to adapt the strategy depending on the role the channel plays in our growth.  
  • Within the sales strategy, create a clear plan for our collaborative customers. Work with Head of Business Development to identify other target growth customers & plan how we can build relationships.  
  • Work with the Head of Marketing, Head of Innovation and Head of Business Development to ensure that any strategic plans for sales are aligned with the rest of the business.  
  • Co-create, with innovation, marketing and business development, a plan for how to launch innovation (both EPD & NPD).

 Team / People Management: 

  • Engage and lead the UK sales team to deliver market leading growth. 
  • Develop the individuals in the sales team to help them achieve the team’s growth ambition e.g. regularly attending customer meetings with NAMs.  
  • Manage and grow the sales team.   
  • Be part of the management team which is accountable for delivering the in-year plan. 

Functional:

  • Deliver the UK sales budget each year. 
  • Manage the UK sales trade spend budget. 
  • Lead the UK sales team to work cross functionally with operations to help drive availability and service levels with UK customers. 
  • Lead the team to work cross functionally with marketing to deliver innovation (both NPD and EPD) successfully across all of the sales channels. 
  • Be the key escalation point for UK sales customers. 
  • Lead the monthly UK sales meeting. 
  • Engage the wider business with the sales strategy, plan and performance.  

Desired skills & experience: 

  • Successful track record in sales within FMCG  
  • Several years’ experience as people manager   
  • Strong commercial acumen  
  • Skilled communicator 
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and assessing new market/business opportunities   
  • Proactive, self-starter with high levels of energy and drive 
  • Relish problem solving  
  • Passion for quality food

Role Background: The business development manager that we are looking for has a passion for food, knows the Irish retail market and knows how to build a network with existing and new customers. You will be part of the Rude Health international team and report into the Head of International. The business developer Ireland will be the 7th person in the team next to a BNL country manager, BNL account manager, BNL brand manager and an international account manager and international brand manager. The business development manager Ireland will operate locally. Role Outline: Responsibilities

  • Develop the commercial framework required to sell Rude Health in Ireland in conventional retail, independent retail and foodservice.
  • Grow distribution in all channels
  • Manage existing and develop new relationships with buyers and key stakeholders in the industry
  • Review and recommend the best way to supply RH stock into the market.
  • Identify marketing needs and develop a trade marketing plan to support listings.
  • Monitor competitor activity in the market place and anticipate where needed
  • Report results, market developments and business ideas/results back at least once a month.

The candidate You have a positive relationship with food and getting the customer’s attention for the innovative assortment of Rude Health excites you. You have the skills to understand how you can fulfil the customer’s needs. You have FMCG experience and most likely you have experience in dealing with buyers at headquarters. You are hands on and have a result driven attitude. Your market knowledge combined with your commercial skills will help you to gain growth. Desired skills & experience:

Role Background: We’re looking for a creative Cafe Chef who will help contribute to our ever changing menu in the Rude Health Cafe. Preferably a keen baker and someone who will contribute to our fun atmosphere. The Rude Health cafe is attached to the Rude Health Head Office in Putney Bridge so you’ll be fully immersed in the Rude Health brand too. Role Outline: 3-4 days a week Mon-Sat Daytime only

Our challenge is to reach more customers and build strong long-term customer relations using our brand values and creative vision.  To support this ambition, we would like to find a Senior National Account Manager who is inspired by this challenge.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Account Management
    • Work with Head of Sales to identify new target growth customers & plan the approach to build relationships
    • Manage and develop existing national account relationships with strategic customers across multiple categories to drive sales and grow distribution
    • Plan and implement trade marketing initiatives working closely with customer marketing contacts to achieve bespoke plans
    • Own JBP agreements, building strategic partnerships for key customers to ensure mutually beneficial annual plans
    • Co-create, with innovation, marketing and sales teams, a plan for how to launch innovation (both EPD & NPD)
    • Plan, monitor and report on promotions for strategic customers
    • Work closely with Category Manager to develop robust plans for key customers
    • Manage the trade spend budget for strategic accounts
    • Prepare presentations for all meetings with relevant information to update customers on sales, trends, data, marketing & PR, NPD, promos
    • Monitor and track weekly sales EPOS and share with relevant contacts/wider team
    • Manage the forecast with supply to ensure adequate stock for promos, new launches etc
  • Team / People Management
    • Support, engage and lead the national accounts team to deliver market leading growth
    • Lead our national accounts engagement, support with negotiations and decision making, give guidance post meetings and review meeting summaries
    • Support cross functionally working to successfully deliver our commercial priorities, in particular innovation.
    • Working with the Head of Sales, recruit, build and develop a team to support our growth.
