This Valentine’s Day, we’re revealing some love stories. Couples that look good, but taste good too. Match made in… nature, if you will.
Coconut & Chia: The Tropical ‘It’ Couple
Coconuts. Big, tropical, so packed with nutrients you could live off them. Chia. Tiny, Central American seeds bursting with energy. They’re an oddball couple that work together beautifully. The flesh of the coconut satisfies your taste buds and body with creaminess and good fats, so we don’t need to add any oil. The chia seeds add extra bite to the crisp, nutty spelt flakes. Together they make a granola like nothing you’ve ever tasted.
Ginger and Turmeric: East Meets North
A highland classic with an exotic twist. Turmeric and ginger may not grow near Inverness, but they go surprisingly well with oats. Turmeric is soft and earthy, while ginger gives it a little zing and warmth. Together they create something unique: satisfying, aromatic and golden.
Honey and Sesame: Old Timers
Sesame and honey have been a perfect couple for over 2000 years since they met in ancient Greece, and they’re still going strong. We’ve mixed things up in this bar with some different nuts and seeds but those two are still in the life and soul of this party.
Chocolate and Hazelnut: A Beautiful Italian Couple
It could only have happened in Italy. Hazelnut first met chocolate in Turin during the Napoleonic wars. Thrown together by fate, they were a dreamy combination. They first appeared as decadent little treats called Gianduja. Then they softened into a famous hazelnut and chocolate spread. Now there’s a new outrageous twist to their relationship, as we’ve been making them into a velvety drink, perfect for toasting the greatest Italian couple of all time.
Apple and Cinnamon: Up for it
Apple & Cinnamon Granola. Muesli’s sophisticated sister. If Muesli is all wholesome country oats, then Granola is like Muesli that moved to the city and got all fancy. This Granola got mixed up with real apple pieces, cinnamon and a menage of spelt and six exotic grains, and drizzled with honey. It’s satisfying, indulgent and up for it morning, noon and night.
