Getting in Rude Health in 2025
As with every new year, many of us are filled with a fresh burst of motivation to make ‘healthier’ choices, but in an ever-changing landscape of what ‘healthy’ means, it’s getting harder to do.
So, what does ‘healthy’ really mean? And how can we make it a sustainable, enjoyable part of 2025?
At Rude Health, we believe it’s all about enjoying real, whole foods that fuel and delight you - without the need for restrictive diets or punishing rules.
What does healthy eating mean at Rude Health?
Every January, we take a good hard look at our diets and vow to cut things out like sugar, chocolate, carbs, or fat. At Rude Health, we believe there’s a better way. We don’t subscribe to restrictive diets. Instead, we champion the power of real, delicious food that you can enjoy all year long.
Our founders began Rude Health nearly 20 years ago with a mission to make the healthy choice a celebration, not a sacrifice. Healthy food and drink shouldn’t feel like a punishment, it should tantalise your taste buds and put a spring in your step.
For us, the secret to eating well is simple: consume whole foods made from real ingredients. In the UK, over 50% of the average diet comes from ultra-processed foods. These highly refined, artificial products might be convenient, but they often lack the nourishment our bodies truly need.
Choosing real food made from whole ingredients means you’ll feel more nourished, and you’ll also enjoy it more too. That’s why we’re committed to using only high-quality, real ingredients you can find in your kitchen cupboard. Nothing artificial. Nothing refined.
Practical tips for eating well in 2025:
There are no quick fixes when it comes to healthy eating. The key is a balanced diet, focused on real, wholesome ingredients. So here are some of our practical tips to help you make healthier choices this year:
-
Read the labels: Always check the labels of the products you buy. If you don’t recognise the ingredients, it’s often a sign that it’s highly processed.
-
Embrace whole foods: Focus on adding more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds and quality protein to your meals. The more whole foods you incorporate, the more nourished and satisfied you’ll feel.
-
Cook from scratch as much as possible: This gives you complete control over what goes into your food. You can avoid hidden sugars, preservatives, and artificial ingredients that often sneak into the food we buy. Whether it's making your own soups or smoothies (our drinks work brilliantly in both!), cooking at home means you’re eating food at its most natural and nutritious.
-
Enjoy Your Food: At Rude Health, we believe in making the healthy choice a celebration, not a sacrifice. The more you enjoy your meals, the more likely you are to stick with them long-term.
